WDS HJ 2553 – Double Star in Leo
The Washington Double Star Catalog lists the separation between these two stars as 16.0 arc seconds, and the position angle as 269 degrees. I measure the position of the left star as [11 02 10.03, 07 24 58.3] and of the right star as [11 02 11.05, 07 24 58.4]. This gives a separation of 15.17 arc seconds and a position angle of 269.62 degrees.
WDS HJ 1182 – Double Star in Leo
The Washington Double Star Catalog lists the separation between these two stars as 32.7 arc seconds, and the position angle as 107 degrees. I measure the position of the left 12th magnitude star as [11 01 05.78, 00 02 40.6] and of the right 7th magnitude star as [11 01 03.73, 00 02 49.5]. This gives a separation of 32.01 arc seconds and a position angle of 106.14 degrees.
